Phuket, Thailand – November 2024
I have always believed in the power of self-care. Not just the candlelit-bath kind, but the deeper kind where you finally do something for yourself. After years of considering aesthetic treatments, I decided to take the plunge and travel to Thailand, the global capital of medical tourism, for a procedure I had long dreamed of.

A New Kind of Getaway

The Day of the Transformation

On November 7th, I arrived at the hospital at 8 a.m., fasting and slightly nervous. When Dr Jib entered with his marker pen to map the surgical areas, I saw the focus of an artist at work.
